A Thanksgiving gift.

So, this is today's story from Frank and Joe's jewels. As many of you know, I work in a school system during the day. The children I work with noticed months ago that I was making jewelry and wearing it. Many of them asked me to make them jewelry. Of course, if I were to do that I wouldn't make much in a jewelry business. However, one boy's story touched my heart. He didn't want jewelry for himself. He wanted me to make something for his mom. Now that's kind of nice in and of itself. But, there was more. He had a very specific bracelet in mind. He wanted it to be purple. He wanted it to be pretty like his mom. But most of all, he wanted the word Jude placed on the bracelet. He wanted a heart stone placed in the middle. He wanted it to be known that the dog Jude was loved. Now, I didn't tell him that I was going to make this bracelet. He's actually been asking me for months . I didn't want him to think that I was giving him special treatment. But I'm a mom. Who am I to say this little boy couldn't give his mom his heart? This is something I could help him do. Easily. I could help this boy give his mom his heart. I let that sink in . So, for this Thanksgiving, I did. I made his mom a bracelet. As close to what he described as I could. Happy Thanksgiving.
